Frequently asked questions

In the past, silk thread was used, but now necklaces are made with stronger threads such as terylene. Therefore, they rarely break, but since oxidation caused by human sweat can have a negative effect not only on the pearls but also on the thread, we recommend that you rethread the pearls every two years if possible. If your pearls do break, please bring them to us and we will fix them immediately.

Due to the nature of pearls, it is quite difficult to find an identical pair, but it is possible to find a pair that is relatively similar. If you don't give up and bring one of the earrings to us, we may be able to make just the other pair.

Both are possible. If you are shortening a long necklace, we can use the remaining pearls to make earrings, pin brooches, etc. To lengthen a short necklace, you will need pearls similar to those used in the necklace, so this may be difficult, but please feel free to consult us.

We have a wide variety of pearls in stock.
